Training Professionals
for the future...

CCII's second major thrust is to treat professionals in developing countries to health, mental health, and education services that enhance their work with children and families.  CCII's international volunteer professionals bring their knowledge of traditional as well as alternative treatments to professionals in developing countries, to facilitate the use of these technologies in their existing services.  These alternative treatment methods include the utilization of arts and expressive therapies, which are especially effective when working with troubled and traumatized children.

CCII provides essential equipment and materials for the implementation of these training programs when the developing country lacks such resources.  Based upon a model of sustained development, the professionals who are trained become resources for future training as those methods are adapted into their own unique cultures

Thus far, CCII has operated with funds from a few concerned individuals, the donations in kind of companies, and the generosity of the volunteers themselves.  Still, we fall short of meeting the over increasing demand of the orphanages, schools, hospitals and other health care institutions that need our ongoing support.
